Sponge rubber profiles (no skin)\n<\/h2>\nAfter assembling sponge rubber<\/b>, polyethylene<\/b> or silicone<\/b> rolls into the desired thickness, we can obtain spools<\/b> of various width and in the length you desire, usually 10mt or 20mt.\n\nThis is the procedure we follow to produce sponge rubber profiles with a square or rectangular cross-section in any size, backed by adhesive layers on one or more sides to facilitate installation or with no adhesive.\n\nFurther processing include bevelling on one or more sides, by which we are able to produce long strips of profiles<\/b> in more complex shapes.\n\nThe industrial use of foam rubber profiles<\/b> is multifaceted: among the primary applications is certainly that of cushioning possible impacts on delicate materials, but in addition to this, foam rubber profiles are commonly used to make seals for insulation from dust and liquids of all kinds, including aggressive ones.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following the same procedure but starting from sheets instead or rolls, sponge rubber can be cut into strips or bands, in various thicknesses, width and length.<\/p>\n

Solid rubber can also be cut into strips<\/b>, using the same machineries in the case of low thickness sheets, or resorting to other tools, including waterjet<\/b> cutting technology.<\/p>\n

The applications of foam and compact rubber strips are in fact very much akin to those typical of rubber profiles; the difference lies in the shape, and in the ability to roll the strips up and curve them to follow different profiles, as often happens in the application gaskets from liquids or dust.<\/p>\n
